What personal data do we collect
This site does not collect any personal data using the site pages. Users of the site are identified using a unique value supplied by either the employer or by the user upon requesting an account on this site. This is usually a broker’s RIBO number.
The site pages do not ask for a user’s name, address or phone number except when we receive a support request from a user. This information is not kept on the site. It is retained by the support person during the support process. When the support process is completed, any personal information that has been given to the support person is deleted from our system.
If you are an individual broker that has subscribed to our service, we will retain your contact information off-line for administrative purposes.
Media
If you upload images such as a scanned PDF or other image types to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included (Link: How-to Geek). Although your data is secured through your account credentials, it is always a good policy to not divulge location information.
How long we retain your data
For registered users on our website, we store the identifying information provided by the employer or in person. A user cannot edit, or delete their personal information. A user’s account can be closed when a verified request to do so is received by the Administrator. The Website administrator can see and edit your user information.
Your rights concerning your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Your continuing education session information will be kept on our servers for the five years required by RIBO.
Where we send your data
For administrative purposes, your employer may request a copy of the data you have entered into this site. We will also comply with a valid court order to divulge the information we have about you. We will not sell your data to anyone.
